Bahu was established under commercial registration number on 1440/12/29 AH. To protect user data and information, Bahu is committed to maintaining the confidentiality and privacy of this data and using it in accordance with the terms and conditions applicable in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Using Bahu's website and applications constitutes acceptance of the user privacy policy.

Data Collected

Personal Data: Includes username, full name, national ID or residency number, email address, and phone number.

Payment Data: Includes payment information, credit card details, expiration date, and related parts.

Booking Data: Relates to the booking history, booking ID, and complete booking details for both the guest and host.

Cookies Data: Includes cookies to enhance the user experience.

Other Data: Includes address, city, operating system, and geographic location.

Methods of Data Collection

Data is collected from the personal information provided by the user when registering, making bookings on the platform, or interacting with it in any way. Additionally, data is collected indirectly through cookies when visiting the website.

Bahu also obtains personal information indirectly from various sources like Bahu partners, government entities, and other external sources, such as marketing platforms, in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Law issued by Royal Decree No. (M/19) dated 9/2/1443 AH and its executive regulations.

Use of Personal Data

It is essential for Bahu to know some personal details of customers. If you have made a booking on behalf of someone else, you ensure that the other person has agreed to the use of their personal information.

Cases where Bahu collects personal data:

• Guest: To complete bookings, payment transactions for available services on the platform.
• Host: To complete the process of adding and managing hospitality units and providing their details and addresses on the platform.
• Improving user experience: By extracting insights and offering services tailored to individual needs such as accommodation photos, etc.
• Developing and enhancing customer service: By addressing user inquiries about website and service usage.
• Managing promotional campaigns and competitions: Like managing offers and site-specific features.
• Sending emails or SMS: To deliver all services.

Data Storage and Deletion

We process your personal data in accordance with the requirements of the concerned authorities and Bahu's standards. Personal data is stored on secure servers with our local partners.

Legal Basis for Data Collection and Processing

Personal data is collected and processed based on the consent of the data subject. The individual can request the deletion of their data at any time, unless there is another legal basis for retention. Protection of Payment Methods in Apple Account

To help you manage payment methods in the Apple environment, Apple may verify if any of the payment methods associated with Apple Pay are eligible to be added to your Apple account as a registered payment method, and display these payment methods in Settings > [Your Name] > Payment & Shipping > Add Payment Method > Payment Method. When making a transaction using an Apple account, Apple may also verify if any of the payment methods registered in the Apple account are eligible for Apple Pay. If so, to help protect your payment information, Apple may enable Apple Pay for this payment method. You can modify payment methods in Apple at any time by going to Settings > [Your Name] > Payment & Shipping.

Apple Transmits Payment Information but Does Not Store It

To securely transmit payment information within apps, websites, and business chats, information is sent to Apple in an encrypted format, where it is decrypted for a short period and then re-encrypted using a merchant-specific key, so that only the merchant, developer, or payment processor can decrypt the payment information. When making a payment on a Mac that cannot add a card, communication between the Mac and the payment authorization device is conducted through an encrypted channel via Apple's servers. Apple does not retain any of this information in a way that can identify you personally.

The Apple Pay feature also allows you to make payments in third-party browsers and use devices that support Apple Pay to authorize the transaction. When using this feature, Apple will create a communication channel between the third-party browser and the authorization device via Apple's servers to allow you to update shipping and payment details and provide authorization. Shipping and billing information, as well as information related to merchant fees, such as taxes or shipping charges associated with the purchase, will be visible to Apple for a short period. Apple does not retain any of this information in a way that can identify you personally.

Rights of the Data Subject

Right to Know: The data subject has the right to know how their data is collected, the legal basis for data collection and processing, how it is stored and deleted, and the parties with whom this data may be shared. You can view all details through the privacy policy available in this document or contact us via the details provided in section nine.

Right to Access: The data subject has the right to request a copy of their personal data via the email provided in section nine. They will be provided with the requested data within [seven working days] free of charge, and the copy will be sent via email.

General Provisions

If you use someone else's data without their knowledge or consent as per the system's provisions, you will be responsible for any damages resulting from the use of that data.

In case of a dispute between the guest and the host regarding property damage, misuse, or violation of any regulations of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, you agree to share your personal data with the host and the relevant authorities. If any provision of this policy conflicts with the laws of the Kingdom, that provision will be void, while the rest of the provisions will remain valid and binding. If any other agreement conflicts with this policy, the terms of this policy will prevail and be binding.
